The pandemic has exposed and illustrated deeply rooted racial inequalities impacting marginalized populations throughout Brazil. Domestic workers, particularly people of color, have experienced disproportionate inequities as it relates to prevalence of COVID-19 and access to care. The pandemic has further served to illustrate the deep class inequalities in Brazil, entangled with race and culture.
