10 million file jobless claims

Last week, a devastating 6.6. U.S. employees filed for unemployment benefits. Such high numbers translate to massive burdens placed on the economy, reminiscent of the 2008 Great Recession. Moreover, self-employed workers are not included within these figures, then suggesting that these figures are even higher than already estimated.


Experts warn that the worst is even yet to come - further immense losses await down the line and the already burgeoning crisis is more situated at its beginning than its end.
