Black American Bus Drivers

The pandemic has only served to exacerbate and reveal already existing disparities in health between white and black Americans. Black Americans are subject to deeply rooted disparities heightening risk to COVID-19. Moreover, about 30% of U.S. bus drivers and essential workers are black, further drawing attention to disparities in risk in the workforce.
