CDC, Data and COVID-19 Pregnancy



The CDC described their initiatives to track and research the health experiences of pregnant women with COVID-19. Initial studies have suggested that this sub-group may be more vulnerable to hospitalization and ICU admission in comparison to non-pregnant women. Collected data thus far counts up to 16,798 cases of pregnant women with COVID-19 from January 22 to August 11, and 31 deaths.
