Coronavirus and Depression



For individuals already living with mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety disorders, the COVID-19 pandemic presents an additional layer of mental distress compounding already existing stressors. Fears of illness, safety of loved ones, economic recession and other concerning issues are widely shared among all individuals within the current pandemic. Yet, individuals living with depression may experience an amplified layer of concern deriving from pre-existing mental health conditions.
