Domestic Violence Survivors Offered Free Hotel Rooms

Chicago has announced a measure in which individuals fleeing from domestic violence are offered free hotel rooms. In order to place the request, domestic violence survivors may call or text the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline at 877-863-6338. The measure is an attempt to assist those suffering from the rise in domestic violence cases in the context of the pandemic and stay-at-home orders.
