Zipline, an American health logistics company that produces autonomous drones, has turned attention towards using drones to help collect COVID-19 tests in Ghana. The strength of such deliveries is their contactless nature, allowing swift and careful pickup of tests over long distances to locations where the tests can be analyzed. Such a quick procedure shortens a journey to analyze tests that might normally take up to six hours on the road to sparse testing labs. In fact, Zipline's fleet is capable of transporting up to 15,000 tests daily.
