The Providence Journal reports that almost half (43%) of Rhode Island positive coronavirus cases are Latino individuals. However, members of the Latino community, particularly undocumented individuals, express concerns and fears to get tested for coronavirus and receive healthcare. Gov. Gina Raimondo has urged undocumented individuals to seek care and assures that no individual shall be faced with immigration enforcement or status-related concerns while being tested for coronavirus.
