In Europe, citizens argue that the pandemic has led to greater “marginalization, stigmatization, and violence” towards minority communities. Reports have been released showing twelve countries, including the U.K., have increased incidents of racial bias in the enforcement of quarantine measures. As the Black Lives Matter movement regains momentum in the U.S., Europeans are demanding similar reform to law enforcement practices in their countries as well.
