The racial tensions and racial injustices committed against African-Americans in recent times have only served as a reminder of the racism permeating U.S. society. Indeed, even after the coronavirus pandemic - which further deepens racial disparities for African-Americans - subsides, countless other facets of society are still permeated with and built upon racist ideologies.
